Missile Defense Agency - Scalable Homeland Innovation Enterprise Layered Defense (MDA Shield)

Overview

This contract vehicle is designed to provide rapid delivery of innovative capabilities that strengthen homeland defense and help protect the United States and the American people by ensuring continuous, layered protection against air, missile, space, cyber, and hybrid threats originating from any vector. SHIELD will leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning-enabled applications where pertinent, and maximize use of digital engineering, open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and agile processes in the acquisition, development, fielding, and sustainment of these capabilities.
