LAURIE WINKLER

Ms. Laurie Winkler brings decades of small business experience and leadership to American Cyber. She has been a successful entrepreneur in both product and service businesses, serving as general manager and business owner in a variety of industrial sectors. Her career started in public service in the Human Resource Management field in Florida, and then turned to Marketing and Advertising for clients such as the Washington Post and the ABC Television Network. Ms. Winkler’s business experience extends into real estate, retail and healthcare sectors where she led million-dollar real estate projects, supported national and global retail chains, and worked with fitness product and service providers. Ms. Winkler balanced her professional pursuits while supporting her husband’s Army career, for which she was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology. Laurie and Gary Winkler launched American Cyber in 2011 to continue serving the Army, DoD and the Government Information Technology community with premier, value-based products and services. Her strategic leadership and oversight of all company operations led American Cyber to its current ranking of #799 ranking on the Inc.5000, as well as multiple awards from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Washington Technology and SmartCEO magazines.
