Security Specialist

Position Overview
The Security Specialist leads security and compliance integration for all tasks, including access control, tenant security posture, audit logging alignment, and adherence to IRS cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate security and compliance requirements into operational support and modernization activities.
Administer and validate access control processes and security posture alignment for the M365 tenant.
Support audit logging alignment and compliance-driven documentation to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate with technical leadership to implement secure-by-design solutions and operational controls.
Maintain security-related artifacts and evidence supporting oversight and governance expectations.
Required Experience
Minimum of seven years of experience supporting security/compliance for Microsoft 365 or comparable enterprise collaboration platforms in the Federal Government or Corporate environments.
Experience with identity/access management and audit/logging practices in regulated environments.
Strong documentation skills supporting audit readiness.
Certifications / Qualifications
Security+ required / CISSP, or equivalent (preferred).
Familiarity with Microsoft security/compliance tooling.
