This position requires the individual to have basic competencies in awarding, administering, and managing Federal Contracts. Serve as a specialist responsible for the execution of the day-to-day duties for acquisition and procurement of prototype solutions for other transaction agreements. Individuals will be responsible for cradle to grave support and execution, to include: strategy development, pre-award execution, and post-award administration. Individual must be competent in leading and building relevant strategies for executing prototype and production agreements and associated documentation with little to no precedence, policy, guidelines, or templates. The individual must have experience reading and understanding procurement regulation and salient statutory mandates while driving innovation, creative strategies and procurement processes while leveraging other transaction authorities.
This individual will help ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction for individual task orders. Perform technical and administrative efforts for tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry-accepted standards, federal government legislative and regulatory requirements and user standards specified in task orders. Develop requirements of IT product/service (including specifications, feasibility studies, requirement analysis, etc.) from inception to conclusion on simple to complex projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Secret Clearance
5+ years of DoD acquisition experience, of the 5 years, a
minimum of 2 years direct OTA experience and a
minimum of 3 years DoD Acquisition – Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) experience
BBA or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Preferred:
FAC-C Level II or DAWIA
CON Level II
Salary Range: $73,000.00 to $85,000.00
